HBOOT LEGAL
HBoot Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rights, responsibilities, and product boundaries that apply to HBoot Unified Account.
1. Operator and scope
These Terms are between you and the HBoot service operator, an independent developer based in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China (hboot0230@gmail.com). HBoot provides independently deployable registration, sign-in, account linking, and security management for connected applications. These Terms apply to the service instance you are using.
By registering, signing in, or using an HBoot account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Product-specific rules also apply when you use a product.
2. Account registration and use
- You may register or sign in using an email verification code or, when enabled for this service, Google, GitHub, or WeChat QR. The first successful authentication may create an HBoot account; signing in from a product may also establish a product connection.
- Use an email address or third-party account that you control and protect your devices, codes, and sessions. Google and GitHub sign-in use your provider account identity without requiring its email address or email verification. You may separately choose to bind and verify an email address.
- You may explicitly link or unlink Google or GitHub in your account settings. Linking requires verification of your current session and ownership of the provider account. Accounts are not automatically merged merely because their email addresses match. Keep at least one usable sign-in method before unlinking.
- The global user ID identifies your HBoot account; each product remains responsible for its local user ID and business data.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Authentication and product responsibilities
HBoot verifies identity, issues and rotates product sessions, and maintains identity mappings. Each product controls its own features and business data. If two verified identities map to different product users, HBoot creates a pending merge relationship; you confirm it on the product Web app and the product performs the business-data merge.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate others, sell accounts, or register accounts in bulk.
- Do not bypass security controls, probe, attack, or disrupt the service.
- Do not use the service for unlawful or infringing activity.
- Do not abuse verification codes, QR codes, tokens, or APIs through automation.
5. Changes and availability
We work to keep the service secure and available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, network failures, provider changes, force majeure, or security events may cause temporary outages.
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the HBoot account software, interface, marks, and materials belong to the operator or lawful owners. Your lawful rights in content you provide remain yours.
7. Suspension, termination, and deletion
We may restrict or terminate accounts involved in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or seriously non-compliant activity. Before requesting unified-account deletion, delete your accounts and business data in every product you used and transfer owner or administrator roles. Then verify ownership and submit the request in the account center. If no usable email is available, verify ownership by authorizing an already linked Google or GitHub account again. If neither method is available, contact hboot0230@gmail.com for manual verification. Unified-account deletion does not replace product-side business-data deletion.
8. Responsibility
We accept responsibility where required by law and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded. The responsible party bears losses caused by unlawful conduct, a breach of these Terms, or failure to protect account credentials.
9. Updates
We may update these Terms when functions, processing, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be prominently disclosed and, where required, presented for renewed consent.
10. Law, disputes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. Please contact hboot0230@gmail.com first with account, agreement, complaint, or deletion questions; unresolved disputes may be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction.
